SYNOPSIS:
These part of the training programme has
a strong practical slant, covering the
use of Linux in the typical enterprise
network environment. It covers basic and
advanced TCI/IP networking, e-mail services,
Web serving with Apache, DNS name resolution,
directory services, internet proxy services,
firewalling and security administration.

Delegates
who take this course should upon completion be
able to design, implement, manage, and advise
on small to medium-sized cross-platform networks
that range from hundreds to thousands of hosts
running a variety of operating systems including
MS-Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.
This course is also designed to enable delegates
to become professional Linux Network administrators,
certified via the Linux Professional Institute
(LPI) Exam 202, which is the second part of the
LPI Level 2 certificate. |
