This course is an introduction to Linux
and systems administration . The course
covers the core objectives for Level 1
Linux Professional Institute (LPI) certification
(LPI 101 and LPI 102) and an introduction
to the objectives of LPI level 2 (LPI
201). Emphasis is placed on the most practical
and useful aspects of the LPI curriculum.
This course focuses on the underlying
principles of Linux and UNIX in a system
independent way, ensuring that delegates
learn the core concepts, which apply in
all distributions of Linux and regardless
of UNIX vendor it also addresses the essentials
need to administer a Linux system. At
the end of the course delegates will be
well-positioned to become serious users,
software developers and administrators
of any Linux system and fully understand
the application of Linux in commercial
and other environments.
