ADVANCED LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION: DURATION – 5 Days

SYNOPSIS

This course has a strong practical slant, covering the use of Linux in the typical enterprise network environment. It is designed to enable delegates to become professional Linux system administrators via the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Exam 201 which is the first part of the LPI Level 2 certificate. LPI 201 is designed to certify Advanced System Administration. It is not exclusively limited to Linux and is designed for system administrators working in cross-platform networks (MS-Windows, Unix, Linux, Novell, etc) and the best certification scheme for system administrators who need to manage more than one version of a Unix-like OS.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
  • Delegates who have completed our Linux system administration courses and wish to progress to advanced system administration.
  • Linux/Unix system administrators who want to extend their professional competence by identifying and filling gaps in their knowledge.
  • Linux/Unix system administrators who want to be certified to Level 2 under the Linux Professional Institute certification scheme.

Delegates should leave the course with a real understanding of how to maintain and administer a Linux system at an advanced level.
