DSL e-wallet is Datasphir’s proprietary software engine that powers electronic or virtual wallets for online payment in Nigeria and simplifies the purchasing experience for the Nigerian Internet customer. Funding the e-wallet is achieved by making payments into the account of the institution (typically a bank) that supports the e-wallet payment system. The deposits are then credited to the user's e-wallet who can then use his funded e-wallet to make online purchases at websites subscribed to the e-wallet payment scheme. DSL e-wallet can be licensed for use in a closed system or can be licensed for a more open scheme like Nijacol Wallet.
